Mr. Gonzalez is President of AT&E Consultants. Growing up in the Snyder area, engineering and drilling was universal and ultimately pointed Ozzie down this career path. In 1987, Ozzie graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Petroleum Engineering. Ozzie’s journey with AT&E began in 1990 as a field representative. Since then, he has experienced every role in the firm. Ozzie has supervised field and laboratory construction materials testing and inspection for various multi-million dollar projects. He has conducted environmental site assessments, geotechnical investigations, and forensic analysis. Mr. Gonzalez’s expertise is fortified by numerous continuing educations courses. Ozzie is an all-around expert in his field; always prepared to face whatever challenges come his way.

Various Projects: Mr. Gonzalez was a project engineer responsible for the geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing. Mr. Gonzalez’s tasks included: project setup, reviewing drilling logs and material tests, providing geotechnical engineering recommendations and reports for the following projects:

Mr. Jose A. Gonzalez, P.E., recently joined the team at Amarillo Testing and Engineering, Inc. Growing up in the Texas panhandle area he graduated from Texas Tech in 2015. He moved to Houston where he worked as a civil structural engineer in the oil & gas industry. In his time in Houston he worked on major projects as a project engineer. His project experience includes mid-cap fractionation units to multibillion-dollar LNG export facilities. In the latter he gained valuable experience by being in a hands-on, on-site position providing support as a project engineer serving to assist construction with day to day issues in order to lessen the impact on budget and schedule. He has returned home to take on the responsibility of managing day-to-day operations, provide engineering support and to expand on the business development branch of Amarillo Testing & Engineering, Inc.
